UMass Amherst Faculty Openings in Energy and Sustainability

The Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for tenure-track faculty whose research focuses on Informatics, with a particular interest in applications at the Associate Professor level. Exceptional candidates at other ranks may be considered. This position is part of a recent initiative establishing a top-quality informatics program building on our highly rated computer science program and our significant interdisciplinary collaborations in many areas across campus. Our informatics program is focused on applying deep computational principles and information technology to address the most pressing global issues of our time. We welcome applicants with research experience that addresses our current focus in health informatics, bioinformatics, energy informatics, computational sustainability, and applied data science.  We also welcome applicants with research in other interdisciplinary areas that would allow us to broaden the scope of the program.
