Workshop Venue

The ACM e-Energy 2018 workshops on June 12, 2018 will be held at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Please note: There are two different buildings of the workshop venue:

  • FZI Main Building (Haid-und-Neu-Straße 10-14, Karlsruhe): rooms New York and Tokyo (both on Ground Floor)
  • FZI House of Living Labs (HoLL) (Haid-und-Neu-Straße 5a, Karlsruhe): Event Hall and room Hollywood (both on Upper Floor)

How to Get There

The workshop venue FZI Research Center for Information Technology (Haid-und-Neu-Str. 10-14, Karlsruhe) may be reached using tram line S1/S11 (Hochstetten) from stop Schloss Rüpurr to Kronenplatz.
There you can take the tram lines 4 (Jägerhaus), 4 (Waldtstadt) or 5 (Rintheim). Please exit at stop Karl-Wilhelm-Platz.
Other possible tram lines to reach the workshop venue from “Kronenplatz” are S2 (Spöck) and S2 (Blankenloch). In this case exit at stop Hauptfriedhof.

Here you can find a current train connection.

Unfortunately, there is no or only very limited public parking avaible at FZI. However, in case of handicaps or personal need, we can offer parking permits for the FZI underground parking facility.

There is eduroam (see https://www.eduroam.org/) at the workshop location. If you do not have credentials for eduroam, please contact the registration desk or the workshop chairs for the login credentials to FZI_guest.
